When I took this shot, about a month ago, the lift was closed, presumably for a winter break. So everybody has to walk up the bank or steps. I assume it will be open shortly for the influx of summer visitors. Mind you, I nearly always take the steps anyway.

Sorry if it's getting boring seeing tractors, but I like them. This is a very similar shot to one about a week ago, but I think the balance of the image is better as it shows a complete tractor on the right to balance the tractors on the left. In fact I've just noticed the tractor in the distance is the one from a couple of days ago also.

It was a cold day at Saltburn when we were there, with the wind whipping off the sea. I love these old tractors, It amazes me that they continue working year after year, through all types of weather.

Above the Valley gardens at Saltburn is this bandstand. The floor is a map of the Villages and Towns from the surrounding area, and there are wrought iron scenes on each side of the bandstand.

On the way to Saltburn, just past Upleatham is this small church. It sits all on it's own, surrounded by grave stones and countryside, and I'm assuming it's not used these days, unless the local population of three me and a dog turn up ocassionally and prove me wrong.

You can tell we are in the middle of the cricket world cup as the area is awash with people playing cricket. Well ok, not exactly awash, but I did see these two guys playing on a chilly Sunday in Saltburn.

We had a drive to Saltburn on Sunday. On the way there I spotted this pile of logs near Upleatham, all neatly stacked, awaiting who knows what.

I like looking in shop windows and taking shots of things found there. Such as these mannequins. I like the way you get reflections that interact with you main focal point.

This shot is a few years old now. I was at the Cleveland County Show, and this lady asked me to take her photograph as she had just won one of show jumping events and hadn't brought a camera.
