One of the older pubs in Middlesbrough, the Captain Cook is located 'over the border'. I wonder just how busy it gets on an evening as it's a bit out of the way from the town centre.

If I remember correctly this is the door into the building that yesterdays shot was part of. It could well be that it is still in use for various activities as that door looks in decent condition as do the windows.

Another shot from 'over the border' in Middlesbrough. This building used to be a bank, but I'm not sure what it's used for now, if anything. Positionally it's a bit out on a limb, lets hope it's not ear-marked by the developers, as I'm sure they would prefer a nice shiny office block in its place.

Another shot taken from the top of the mima balcony. I liked the way the top of the Town Hall was reflected in the windows of the tower block.

Another shot of the brilliant looking path outside of mima in Middlesbrough. Although, if it gets very wet and muddy you probably won't be walking in a straight line like this guy is.

From the balcony at the top of mima, you have a great view of this fabulous path thats been put down linking mima with the fountains in the previous shots.

This is a similar image to one from a few days ago. This one shows just the very top of the Riverside stadium and a larger moon. I couldn't decide which of the two I preferred, so I thought I'd include them both on the blog.

Around Exchange Square in Middlesbrough you can find quite a number of these. I think (although I didn't check) that they are rubbish bins. I could have had a look in to check I suppose, but may have been snapped myself and been put forward as one of those, tramp rummaging through a bin, type shots!
